Bloom County 2015 is the latest comic strip in the Bloom County series. On July 12, 2015, Berkeley Breathed posted a picture of him drawing the strip with a note of "A return after 25 years. Feels like going home."[1] The series begins with Opus waking up after taking a 25-year-long nap and having to deal with how much has changed (and how much hasn't) since he fell asleep.
Breathed has stated that the comic will be published only on his Facebook page due to not wanting the restriction of deadlines and a daily or Sunday publishing schedule that is a requirement for synidications in national newspapers. However, on September 12, 2015, he announced that the comics would be available on GoComics.com, running one week behind the release on his Facebook page.
